Just yesterday, I installing a linux distro known as Elementary OS. Everything works fine with eOS, Windows, eOS, and the Windows recovery partition show up fine on the GRUB menu. However, when I try to boot windows 8 or the Windows recovery partition I get the following message:

ERROR: Unknown command: 'drivemap'
ERROR: Invalid EFI file path

Press any key to continue

It brings me back to the GRUB menu. I created a Windows 7 bootable USB and that won't show up in my boot sources either...
If anyone has a solution, it would be GREATLY appreciated :)

In what order did you install the OS's? Since Elementary is based off of Ubuntu. You can use the ubuntu forums at ubuntuforums.org for more info on editing the Grub menu. Also did you change the bios settings to CSM for legacy boot, or leave it set for UEFI?

Windows 8 came pre installed With my Desktop, and I just installed eos last night. I have changed my bios to disable Uefi but I don't think it worked. My sub shows in my Uefi boot sources and nothing shows in my legacy. Just last night I was able to boot eos off of this usb, but now it won't read it.

Because you disabled the boot mode from UEFI to CSM. Windows 8 will never boot. You will have to always change the bios boot mode, when ever you wish to use Windows 8.

I'm running a boot repair package right now, and i'm seeing if this helps. It apparently helped other people fix this issue. I'll get back to you on whether it was successful or not.
