    Windows 8.1

I figured out a solution! Instead of sorting the Files by Name, I sorted them by TAGS, then added a NUMBER to the name of each FILE!

In other words, for the File that I wanted to be first, I added a 1, then added a 2 for the second one, etc. It's a bit complicated, but I don't want to touch the Registry, & a .Bat file that I thought would solve the problem didn't work after downloading it 4 times. Of course, every time I did an ad for Start8 popped up (I don't even own it).

By the way I found out who invented Windows 8 & 8.1:

Ah, that's a nice workaround for OS shortcoming. I used that a lot for sorting multimedia files,

In IE 11, if I click on a link on a page, then click the back arrow to leave that page, and go back to the original page, it takes me to the top of the original page, rather than were I was on that page. I think there must be a setting that controls this, but I can't find it. Any solutions?

When I connect my Android phone to my computer via USB to access storage, it treats all the folders as music folders - this means that in Details view I don't get "date modified" but "track number", "artist", "album", etc.. despite this being completely irrelevant to the content of all but a single...
