Problem with default Media Player from Browser

    Hello,

There's a website that has a list of videos I need to watch, which is supposed to stream the videos to Windows Media Player, but I accidentally chose "Google Chrome" to open the videos, and now everytime I click "Play Video" it opens a blank Google Chrome page. Is there a way to make the video streaming link launch Windows Media Player instead of Google Chrome again?

    Thanks

Go into Control Panel (Right Click start button and select it)
    Do a search for default
the top result should be set default programs

If you click on this and then in the list at the left hand side find Windows Media Player
Click this and then click on set as default (or click on the customize to select what WMP opens)

    Hope that helps

Thanks for the help, but I figured it out and it was a bit different, what I did was:

Swipe mouse to the right side to open the charms bar > Settings > Change PC Settings > Search and apps > Defaults > Choose default apps by protocol.

From the list opened, I looked for all the protocols using Google Chrome, because that is what I accidentally chose, and I saw that in the "MMS (URL:MMS Protocol)" Google chrome was the default, and I could also change it to Windows Media Player, so I suspected this one is the one I should change (because in other protocols that showed Google Chrome, such as "HTTP" and "HTTPS" I did not have the option to choose Windows Media Player, but other browsers only), and after I changed it, it really worked.

I don't know what exactly is MMS Protocol I just saw that this is the one showing Google Chrome with the option to change it to Windows Media Player

    Have a good day!
