    permission is full control, but still can't uncheck read only on win 8.1

    You might see if you may be able to use an option in METHOD TWO in the tutorial below to not have the file or folder as read-only using a command prompt.

Hi all, I searched a lot, but i can't find a solution. I can't uncheck the read-only attribute on a folder. I uncheck it, click ok, but afterwards is back to read-only. The files in the folders aren't read-only only the folder itself.
