its been quite a while since this problem was there. my toshiba lap was working well... suddenly one day (I think after updates) my lap is not opening up. it opens the toshiba logo and immediately goes to the setup screen. sometimes the keys wont work. it always boots up like that no matter how many times I try to either save changes or discard changes and start. I would like to know whether it could be a hardware problem or software and how could I solve it. I desperately need my photos and other documents, games..... ps. I am not a geek in computing......simplifing things a bit would help
thanks in advance:thumb::thumb:
hey guys.....my lap instantly woke up as if from the dead and everything seems normal except for a little bit of lesser performance:shock:. now I wanted to do a backup of it in case anything happens, so a system image backup is required.... i wanted to do a backup in such a manner that if my software messes up I can boot up from a DVD, how is that done?? by a recovery option that I have seen above the system Image backup or is that much enough?? (ie the system Image backup??)
I rely on 3rd party backup programs like Acronis and Terabytes Unlimited Image For Windows ($). However, Macrium Reflect has a free version that is quite good. Make a Boot CD (from within the program) and that will enable you to boot a disabled computer and Restore an image. Check out the link:
