    Restore Search Index

    Hello!

I thought I was doing a good thing when I decided to disable indexing service of C drive. I read on internetz that it should increase performance of windows so...

I use the search function a lot now when there is no start menu like previous windows and its all good with me. I get around with keyboard shortcuts and don't really miss the old start menu. But after I disabled indexing for C drive.. I can't get any search results. To clearify.. I unchecked "Allow files on this drive to have contents indexed in addition to file properties" and applied it to all files and subfolders....

When I search for "Administrative tools" I get nothing... or any useful applications that it was there before.

So my question is... is there a way for me to rebuild the old indexing tree without having to redo every single file and folder in C?

    Thanks for your time!

Can't you just check it again and Apply it?
