So the problem is that every night before I go to bed I cut the power off to my computer, meaning I flick the light switch in my room which provides power to all my PC components, because they take power even when the computer is off. Sometimes when I flick it on the next morning, and turn my computer on, the startup takes longer than usual, and when I do get logged in, windows explorer is constantly crashing. Like, crash after crash. The only way to fix this is to cut the power off (flick the light switch), and then flick it back on, and turn the computer back on. Then it performs normally. So to me this is really strange, but maybe someone has an explanation as to the reason why this is occurring?
