    An Application Named "%1"

I right clicked on a png file and select open with and then choose default program.
In the options to select the default program, right under Windows Photo Viewer, there was an application named "%1".
How can I find out what is this "%1" on the computer?
    How can I locate it?
Unfortunately a search on Windows partition comes up with million results.

P.S.: Apparently Quicktime is causing it. It is still there. Not my computer so cannot mess with it.

%1 means first parameter passed to a program. Probably a corrupted registry entry, ignore it, DO NOT pick it as the default.

I'm just wondering if there will eventually be a means of running a Metro-compliant background task, such as Notification Area Icons In Win78 and Desktop? Theoretically these could be added to the harms menu somehow.
