Lock screen dark
I have 8.1 installed on a laptop. It used to be that when I'd open the lid, and go to type in my password, the lock screen was was bright as I had it set to be. But now it's very dark until after typing in the password; so dark I can hardly even tell if the insertion point is in the right place.
Now even if I change to power options to high performance, it's still dark until after I type in my password. I've looked for a setting that determines how bright the screen will be then but I haven't found one that changes the lock screen brightness.
What do I need to do to make the lock screen as bright as I have the screen set to be?
