I have almsot freshly installed Windows 8.1 Pro, all I have done after that is some tweaks using Windows 8 Manager.
So when I go to my personal folder on the desktop, and then I right click and choose Customize... it gives me an error
"Explorer.EXE unspecified error", and thats it...
I have searched for similar problems but they are all for Windows 7
So can anyone help me please?

Hi, what have you installed since you installed your operating system? Try doing a system restore to as far as you go back and try again. If that doesn't work I would email the windows support desk. Let me know how you get on!

did someone ever find a fix to this? Because I've been trying for 2 days to understand what caused the error but I have not done any kind of customization to the UI or anything beside installing some programs like Visual Studio and a couple of emulators like PCSX2.

I found a guy that claims he fixed the issue by simply making a folder named like this: Personalize.{ED834ED6-4B5A-4bfe-8F11-A626DCB6A921} on Windows 7 but It doesn't seem to work with Windows 8.1.
