I just got windows 8.1 on two computers and have a problem with the thumbnails in explorer gets deleted "randomly"
In my case I think when the thumbnails cache gets to big (over 100mb) windows delete every thumbnail.
I have searched the web for this problem and it seems many have it on windows 7 and 8, but its many old threads.
Does anyone know if there is a real fix for this by now?
The setting permission on explorer folder are not working.
