    No signal after factory reset

So I did a factory reset on my pc, came back into the room to see that my monitor (tv) said no signal and my small LG monitor was black so I just assumed it was part of the process. After about 6 to 7 hours of waiting it still remained the same, even after restarting and trying many other methods to get it to work nothing happens and also it now keeps beeping every 10 to 15 seconds trying to connect my keyboard and mouse, after the beep the mouse and keyboard turn on (the lights on them go on) then after 3 seconds or so they turn off and it does this non stop, also my graphics card is a Radeon 7700 if that has anything to do with it, please help.

Did you use the factory reset disks ?

I would advise getting a set from the manufacturer.

    I bought mine.
They saved my butt several times.

Disconnect from your tv and see if your monitor comes back on. You did a factory reset and the settings for your monitor and tv will have to be reconfigured.

Is the beep a BIOS beep? It sounds to me like the factory reset failed part way though for some reason. Can you access the BIOS setup menu? If there is a F key you can press to have another go at doing the factory reset I would try it.

How many beeps? You may want to look up the beep codes for your BIOS.

Did you install the video card after initial setup?

    Welcome to the forum, BTW.

Try rebooting 3 or 4 times in a row.
Reboot, pause, use power button to shut down.
Do it 3 or 4 times & a boot menu should appear.

If it is a BIOS beep code, it indicates a possible hardware fault. You'll want to sort that out before you do anything else. I would unplug any external devices other than keyboard, mouse and one monitor. You may also want to reset the BIOS to defaults with the motherboard jumper. Taking the CMOS battery out for 5 min or so should do it too. Assuming its a desktop PC and not a laptop. Reseting the BIOS on a laptop that won't boot is a lot more complicated.

Forgot about that trick. Will only work though if the PC is actually attempting to boot into Windows right? If it's a no POST that likely won't work. Still a good suggestion and worth a try though.
