What does NA in StartUp mean?

    Hi all

On clicking Search Online, it takes me to Bing searching for "NA" word

Any idea how can I know what it is & how to get rid of it is its not useful?

Its been there from my previous HDD itself, Now I have replaced with SSD & still NA has not gone,

It was enabled, so I disabled it - no change in anything I can see in performance.

N.B: I had looked up in Stat up programs now because while booting up , takes me to Login password screen quickly, but from there to reach Windows Start screen/Desktop it takes about 30-40seconds (after keying in PW it takes about 10-20seconds to show up Spinning circle of Welcome screen)

Though after SSD upgrade its comparatively better , but this delay is there since I did August updates - Had uninstalled them, still delay there. (I don't know when exactly 'NA' appeared in startup )

So for now , to avoid putting in Login password & waiting for system to respond , I disabled password login - now it is Auto-login.

Download Autoruns for Windows and see if you can find NA.

The fact that you can't access it's properties lead me to think that... NA here isn't the name of the program but meants as n/a, Not Applicable. I think it's something left off in your registry of an old program that was uninstalled. The link is still there in your registry but it points to something that has been deleted.

Maybe try CCleaner. Or if you don't mind editing the registry manually (via regedit), the startup entries can be found at HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run and similar (RunOnce, RunServices, RunServicesOnce) and HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

    In addition to the above,
Although Autoruns is good and gives you a lot of info. However, with your particular problem, Try:
WhatInStartup - Disable/delete programs at Windows startup
This will show you all the entries in the startup, location in the registry, Command Line etc...
Right click on the entry->Open Startup Location will open the registry location
    See screenshot:

Just delete it. All methods are looking at the same thing

It will not make boot faster though as it wasn't doing anything anyway

    Edit: in autoruns

Blue: shows the location where the following group of entries is found - usually a Registry keyPink/Red: no Description or Company Name in the file version resources or no version resource (always true for script files). If the Verify Signatures option is on, file is unsigned.
Yellow: file not found in the expected location
Green: shows changed entries when using Compare from the File menu

This is Power2Go from Cyberlink. Apparently, you uninstalled it in the past but the uninstaller did not do a good job cleaning up. Just click the X on the top left to delete it.
