Do you have a restore point ?

If you can get Task Manager to appear try a New Task & type in rstrui.exe to pull up System restore & go from there.

Or a command prompt.

edit--- Backup,Backup,Backup !

When you get things fixed, make a restore point & try Macrium Reflect to image all your local drives.

I keep 2 complete system images on usb in case I need to restore my computer.
This beats the hell out of Restoring to factory settings or refreshing.

I can not get it to do anything has a blank screen after I put in password

Before the password screen appears.
I forget exactly the keys to press but you can get Task Manager to popup.

Others may know how here.

Try restarting & press Ctrl+Alt+Delete as soon as the restart starts.

Another way to get recovery options is to restart---Press power button to shut down.

Repeat this 3 times & recovery options screen should appear.

I'm pretty sure you will get these---
