As more of you asked me the question on batch printing, i.e. how to print PDF files in batch on Windows 8, I don't have enough time to reply to all of your messages, and therefore, I post the answers here,

1. Download a freeware utility namely PDF2Printer (previously called PDF to Printer for Windows 8 on their website)
PDF2Printer for Windows 8 (PDF to Printer)

2. Install it on your Windows 8 computer (Actually it works with Windows 7 on my laptop).

3. Double-click the icon of the Batch Print tool on your Desktop after install

4. You can also specify the target printer when you right-click on any PDF file and choose Print to print PDF document.

Hope it helps!

Try CTL+P.
Yes, I know this one. BUT... where is the pushbutton for those who want to use the touch screen?! It should be in the bar at the bottom. That bar can be made visible by swiping the finger up from the bottom. It is the logical place for the printing button.

Bring up the Devices Charm and you should be able to select your printer as a device and print to it.

Good to know. However, it is quite indirect and therefore counterintuitive. (The mere fact that one has to 'know' this...) IMO, Windows 8 does not support printing well enough in the user interface. Similar in Office 2010/2013. Instead of offering a distinct button, printing requires a counterintuitive route via the menu.
