Can you print from the PDF app?

Yes I had a heck of a time finding this for my mother. It's there and just done differently by the devices charm.

Bring up the Devices Charm and you should be able to select your printer as a device and print to it.
Good to know. However, it is quite indirect and therefore counterintuitive. (The mere fact that one has to 'know' this...) IMO, Windows 8 does not support printing well enough in the user interface. Similar in Office 2010/2013. Instead of offering a distinct button, printing requires a counterintuitive route via the menu.

Yes Change your default program for PDF to your desktop program Adobe acrobat 9.1 it you have it Installed. I'm running mine as Win 7 desktop. Should be an option in control Panel Change or set program defaults
