Windows 9 Or Windows 8.2

I heared that windows might realease Windows 8.2 before Windows 9 is that true or shall i start saving mony to buy the new Windows 9 when it is available?

Hi, this is the latest news I have heard Microsoft News | More Information On Windows 9 Leaked, May Include A New Feature To Backup And Restore System Image From Cloud. In my opinion the Windows 8.2 was the August update and Microsoft is planning to release Windows 9 in April 2015.

That's my spin on it also. Update 2 if it had been released was rumored to bump 8.1 to 8.2. That's likely not going to happen now. The next full release will be Windows 9.

There never was a Win 8.2. They have Win 8.1, Win 8.1 Update 1 and then planed Win 8.1 Update 2 but instead gave us the Aug rollup. There will be more updates to Windows 8.1 but all the good stuff is being built into "Threshold" aka Windows 9 which is due out in April 2015. We should know more on Sept 30 with a possible trail release but still only rumors.

Windows 9 is still in Alpha stage, same as 8.2. 9 is going to make some changes, but really nothing major. More of a Service pack than anything.
