Solved DWM missing from services.msc

So I was looking into why desktop windows manager was taking up so much memory (task manager). I find some solutions that might work, check services.msc and its not there. At all.

I go into regedit and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\UxSms, apparently that's linked, no folder of that name.

I go here:

The helpful individual in the second link copied his registry UxSms entry. Tried that despite being W7, of course it didn't work (deleted after). Either because it was W7, or it was another cause. Not sure.

Any suggestions?

P.s:
Also ran: CMD /K SC QC UxSms

Came back with:
[SC] QueryServiceConfig2 <delayed autostart flag> FAILED 2:
The system cannot find the file specified

Ran it again:
[SC] OpenService error 1060:
The specified service does not exist as an installed service.

Perhaps someone could please copy a W8 UxSms registry entry; so I can save that as .reg and then merge? Just for starters. Assuming that is allowed.

Sorry, but the Desktop Window Manager Session Manager (UxSms) service is no longer in Windows 8/8.1, so it's not missing.
