Solved printing all on one sheet

gosh i hope someone can help , i am struggling to get the right size page like A4 when printing specific stuff , i just dont seem to get it right , what i want to do is = put some text on a page and put some pictures onto the same page as i am using a speciality paper and dont want to make any more mistakes as it is expensive ive printed previously on normal A4 plain paper i have wasted tons so i want text ,pictures together on the same sheet not spread all over the sheet . any help would be appreciated i have used the printer properties etc

I'm no desktop publishing wiz. But it sounds like you need an editor/word processor that will flow text around the images. Like how it is on web pages. Also one that has an accurate Print Preview so you know what you'll get before printing.

Perhaps Libre Office or one of the other freeware word processors will do it.

thanks MilesAhead i have tried different programmes but im finding it difficult to get the right size ,i want items all seperate so i can cut each picture / text out i will go and have another try thankyou

A way to save paper is "print to file." Then look at the output file in a word processor. When you think you'v got it then try a real print. Perhaps you are doing this already. I don't use office programs. I've tried the free Linux ones just to see what they are like.

Might consider Serif Page Plus for desktop publishing. The company has moved all its offices from the USA to the U.K., tried to buy an upgrade the other day but both VISA and MasterCard notified me the charge was blocked "due to high fraud rates in the UK" so guess I'll stay with what I have.
