I have tried looking for this but haven't had any success in the forums.

I want to Pin my additional hard drive (Local Drive) to my taskbar in windows 8.1!

I would also like to Pin a particular folder to my taskbar too.

I can't find an answer for this. Is it Possible?

Thanks in advance.

This is a first build for me. My last computer was a Dell Dimension 8200 from 2000. I have had no problems with this new build. Started up from day one. I'm sort of proud of myself for this.

I am Looking for a nice 28+ inch 4k Monitor. Any suggestions?
The easiest way is to download Pin to 8: WinAero: Pin to 8

  1. Run Pin to 8
  2. select Pin to a folder
  3. select the drive/Folder then click select Folder

Do you want the jump list for these items to work, or do you just want some clickable shortcut on the taskbar? If the latter, a toolbar with title and text unticked would just do the trick for you. (Create a new folder wherever you like, in which you place shortcuts to the drive and the folder you'd like to have on your taskbar, then right klick on your taskbar -> toolbars -> new toolbar, then select the folder you just created.)

Some of the hardware might seem odd (PSU, SSD), but I'm not wasting money on replacing perfectly functional hardware only because a newer version is out. Nor am I willing to pay extortion money for replacements or intended upgrades (GPU, RAM), especially if that "upgrade" has a hardware design flaw (CPU).
