    Pin to multiple monitor taskbar

    Hello friends,

My problem is impossibility to pin something on any additional taskbars. Everything is ok on the primary tb. I guess this is impossible in Win 8.1... but how can I do this? May be with third party software?

Hello Andy, and welcome to Eight Forums.

Double check to see if you have your setting below set to show taskbar buttons on all taskbars to see if that may have been the issue.

You can display them on all but you can't just pin them to one of the other taskbars. They have to be pinned to the main one to show up on a secondary display.

Nar, I can drag any program .exe (ex: CCleaner) to any one of the taskbars to pin the program to all the taskbars.

Let me clarify what I meant to say. Namely that you can't pin a shortcut to "only one monitors taskbar". It's going to show up on the main taskbar too. I should have said, "but you can't pin them to just one of the other taskbars". I got the feeling the OP didn't want duplication and wanted different pined icons on each monitor. I may have read to much into it though.

Thanks, but I don't need Start button. I want to PIN some application on secondary taskbars, for example MS word.

The options you have for where they are displayed are the three in the screen shot I posted above, All Taskbars, Main Taskbar and Taskbar where Windows is open, Taskbar where Window is open. Anything pinned to a secondary Taskbar gets pinned to the main taskbar also. You can't pin it to just a secondary taskbar.

    I understood, thanks.

May be you know some third-party software allowing pin to secondary taskbars separately from the primary taskbar?

I personally don't use any utilities like that, some here do though. Have a look around in the Customization section, Customization - Windows 8 Forums
