    Windows 8.1 Automatic Repair Loop

Hello, last night, I was using my computer fine, playing a few League of Legends games before I turned off my PC and went to bed. This morning, I tried to turn on my computer and lo and behold, I encountered Windows 8.1 trying to "automatically repair" and it wouldn't boot me to the desktop. I have tried most of the options on the options menu that pops up after automatic repair "fails" and they don't work. I can't restore to a previous restoration point and I cannot boot into safe mode as well.

From what I have gathered online, one option that I didn't try was to use a Windows 8.1 installation disc to try to fix this problem. Unfortunately, on my laptop, the OS that was installed was Windows 7 and through some (ahem, illegal means), I upgraded to Windows 8.1. Therefore, this means I do not have any Windows 8.1 installation discs. Is there anyway I can fix this without a disc? This is really frustrating as my laptop is not functioning on me one week before I start classes again.

Any kind of response of help is greatly appreciated.

EDIT: I'm not particularly computer savvy and a lot of terms I ran into online such as booting, BIOS is unfamiliar to me so explaining this process in layman terms as much as possible would be great.

We can't help you to use cracked software. It isn't considered morally right in the host nation of this site.

You must have a win7 license, so install win7 instead. It is much better anyway.

But did you also in the process of upgrading destroy the Factory Restore partition on the HDD? If not most OEMs have a method of putting the Notebook back to its as-shipped condition then you could try the Win8.1 legitimate upgrade. If you did destroy that partition you can still get Win7 discs but probably not what you'd call cheap, have seen them for $119US.

Sorry for the late response, had to move into school.
So do you guys suggest I should downgrade to Windows 7? I could try to log into Dell and find out information about my device, where I might be able to find my Windows 7 key that came pre-installed. This will however still delete my existing files, correct? I'm assuming this problem is a harddrive error and not a software error.
