System error memory dumps filling my disk

I've run disk cleaner and System error memory dumps took almost 15GB WTF is that?

I don't get any BSOD nor crashes nor any stability issues, except some update which won't let me install.

Did you delete them all or not yet? To see what is crashing perhaps you could zip and upload one either now or when it happens again. The other information generated from the SF Diagnostic tool here http://www.eightforums.com/bsod-cra...e-screen-death-bsod-posting-instructions.html would be useful but if there are thousands of dump files then delete some of the old ones before trying to upload.

Thank you. I am deleting them now as my HD was almost full, (it's taking too much time, no wonder why), but my computer doesn't crash nor BSOD nor anything unusual, I will try the SF utility if I see it again, can Windows 8.1 or programs crash without showing any message?

Yes they sure can. I've never seen a BSOD (that is with the screen actually going blue with some white writing on it like in the past) but I've had crashes that resulted in the system restarting and other dumps just appearing in C:/Windows/*.DMP without me noticing any error at the time.

There would probably be a message in the event viewer (but you would only look there if you knew you had a problem). If you can zip and upload one dump I'll have a look.

Thanks again, I fired up Event viewer and it's clogged up with errors :shock:

106 Kernel-Processor-Power errors
16 Windows update errors (maybe related to my recent woes regarding a update)
49 Application crashes (IAStorDataMgrSvc.exe)
2 BugCheck errors.
19 .NET Runtime errors (again, IAStorDataMgrSvc.exe)
9 Kernel-Pnp Warnings

I have lots of work there!! I will uninstall Intel Storage driver it seems it's the root cause here
