Removing/Adding Folder From Windows Browser Library

I was not able to find the results I needed via Google keywords, I have all my personal files (music, videos, photos, documents) on a separate hard drive so the library folders are directed to the HDD. I was keeping my music specifically on another disc and have now moved the collection onto my files disc so you see the "D:\" folder which is the missing music drive directory and I do not know how to delete it.

I need to add a Music folder into the library but do not know how...or change the name of the "D:\" folder to "Music" and point it to my the files HDD.

    Thanks

I can't read the image you uploaded, can you post a larger one please?

By default, Library is disabled in Windows 8 so I need to see exactly what This PC shows in your image.

    Hello PinkFloydEffect,

The problem is that the images you uploaded are to small to read in your post since they are not expandable. Next time, use the method in the tutorial below to upload and attach them to be seen better.

It appears that your "Music" folder got messed up when it was moved to the D: drive. You can use OPTION TWO in the tutorial below to restore it back to it's default location.

User Folders - Restore Default Location - Windows 7 Help Forums

Afterwards try moving it to D: again.

    Hope this helps,

If you right click the second photo you can view it larger, I can read both.

Those tutorials look home group based, I am not part of one.

PC Folders and Library Folders are different.

It doesn't matter if you are joined to a homegroup or not. The second tutorial is to restore the default location of your Music folder.

Yep, that's what the tutorial is for. To restore it.
