make a Task to Fn+F6 at login

I use a wireless mouse - the Lenovo laptop touchpad and my thumbs screw up my typing at the most inopportune moments. I try to manually disable it at login, but forget. I can permanently disable the touch pad easy enough in its configurations, but sometimes, I do need to enable it - usually just temporarily.

I can make tasks easy enough. Is there a simple way I could make a task at login to disable my Synoptics TouchPad.. Keystroke combo is Fn+F6 to enable / disable it.

How do I get those keystrokes into a task ??

Hi there. You disable it in startup then make a shortcut on the desktop with keyboard shortcut combo or a tile for the Start Screen. Do you know enough to do that? If not, I'll be more than happy to give instructions.

Why not just disable tap to click? Then brushing the mouse pad won't cause you any grief.

This touchpad runs even without the driver or any software installed .. synaptic ps2 port touchpad. I can disable it in all the spots it shows starting from and it still runs. Has a task, run with anyuser login, has a HKLM Run, has three items in taskmanager startup. I can disable everything and it still runs.

The program configs does have a disable checkbox that works.. I lose quick and easy access to use it then when I do need it. Fn+F6 does nothing when the box is checked to disable it.
