    Thanks Brink,

I’m still struggling with the same issue. It appears that no solution for this very frustrating problem.

I'm not sure what else to suggest since all of your permissions and owner looks to be correct to allow you access.

After you click on "Continue" once for an item, do you no longer have to do so for that item?

    Thanks Brink,

Correct. Once the folder is ooen with “continue”, then next time this folder is accessed without having the message!

    What might this indicate for?

It appears to be some sort of NTFS permission issue, but not sure what and why.

Other than formatting the F: drive to start over with the proper permissions in place, you could keep using "Continue" to eventually not have to do so anymore.

    Thanks Brink,

    This is my way---{enable Users}---

Of course you will have to do it on any one that pops up.
I will see if they can all be removed.

    ok.

I changed permissions, auditing, & effective access on my C:\ drive so Users & me & Administrators have complete control.

During setting Effective Access for Users I got a couple dozen of these---

It took about half an hour to finish.

After ok-ing & Applying everything I spent maybe 45 minutes going through my C:\ drive clicking on folders & files to see if the security window popped up---

Only 1 did. A log file caused it.

I have a full Macrium Image backup so I don't mind playing around with my computer.

This seems to have whittled down the security popups.

    Thanks David,

Never worked. As I click a folder and get the message: “you don’t have currently persimmons to access this folder”. The next time the same folder is accessed, then this message doesn’t appear any longer.

    My issue now:

    1. How to get rid of this message?
    2. What is the cause of this message?
