"Failure configuring windows features Reverting changes"

So i just got a new MSI Laptop and i downloaded some games from steam and you know that kind of stuff. Then i had to download windows 8.1 (not from disc) and then it started downloading normally and then all of a sudden this "Failure configuring windows features Reverting changes" popped up and then i just waited and waited, i waited for about a few hours then i gave up and decided turning it restarting it but it came back and again and again i could go to the password the sign would just pop back up i tried pressing f8 and f9 as told in some guides but nothing helped so i decided to ask you guys please help

Reverting changes takes a long time especially when updates are performed. Be patient and it should return to normal.
