Solved Access Files and Folders Windows 8

Cant access to see hidden files and folders. I would suspect a virus, but iam not sure that's even possible. I got Malwarebytes, Super Anti Spyware and Malwarebytes Anti Root Kit, all show 100% clean. Any ideas, I need to see these files? Thank,s Chuck

Are clicking Show Hidden Files in the view tab?

I sure have tried that Nuccii. Any ideas I will try, I even tried to access files and folders the other way, I click ok, nothing happens.
Windows 8 Acer Aspire S3-391 64 bit. Laptop is only 4 month old, never have been able to access files and folders.

Nuccii, opening any other files or folders, is no problem. Only hidden files and folders. Thanks Chuck

You can see them though but not open. Not a good idea to try, they usually settings that should be modified or deleted.

I was making sure theres no kind of virus in there. Allthough I wouldn't think so, I run Malwarebytes, Malwarebytes Anti Root Kit and Super Anti Spyware my antvirus is Windows Defender, Windows 8 it,s good 7 it wasn't at all. Thank,s Chuck

You did not tell us what hidden Files & Folders that you are trying to see. So what specifically hidden Files & Folders are those ?
FYI, certain hidden System Files & Folders such as $RECYCLE.BIN, System Volume Information etc... will not allow you to open even if you are an Administrator, those Files & Folders are owned by System or Trusted Installer.

However, one way to see those hidden files/folders is to download: TreeSize Free - Quickly Scan Directory Sizes and Find Space Hogs and run as Administrator then you'll be able to see them. In order to delete any of them, you might have to take ownership.

topgundcp theres I was just going to nosey hahahaha. Iam not trying to delete any. I didn't realize is what your saying some files cant be seen without that down load. Iam going to down load Tree and be kinda nosey.
Hey would you happen to know of a way to increase volume past 100%. I went to you tube but them ideas don't work for my pc.

I would not advise to do any modification to increase sound over 100% limit:

1. The sound will be distorted
2. You might damage the internal speakers.

Just get yourself an external speakers which will produce much better sound and volume control.

The sound thing makes sense to me. And speakers are cheap price anyways. Iam only about half mile from WalMart.
I like to ask things like that before trying them. You can make a problem far worse than it is. I don't know much about a pc. Thanks great advise. Thank,s Chuck

Scanning

When I run ( scan now ) in command prompt, it goes to 57% stops and says bad sectors fix them.
But when I click on my computer in start and right click and go to tools then click ( check ). It says drive is ok, no repair needed. Iam lost. Iam just average with computers. Any ideas, or is it ok?

Thank You Nuccii, worked perfect. I can explain anything about working on cars. But computers I know just about 60%. I got Defraggler by Piriform, Malwarebytes, Malwarebytes Anti Root Kits, ADW cleaner, CCleaner, Super Anti Spyware and of course Windows Defender antivirus. I got Windows 8 Windows Defender its good now, it wasn't in 7.
I think Windows Defender in 8 are same as Microsoft Security Essentials, I read this, but not sure.

Does anyone know how to delete all HPZ12 for printer and fax also print spooler file. I will never get a printer or fax machine, I can disable them, but don't know how to delete. HPZ12 eats up my CPU.
