file explorer wont open

When i click on the File Explorer link nothing happens. i get the blue circle but then it just stops.

Do you mean that it doesn't open at all? Does the window open?

yes i did - i couldnt carry out the instructions. eg - On the Shortcut tab, look at the Target, which, if your problem has the same cause as mine, is the path to a particular folder, e.g. "C:\Users\<name>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Libraries". Replace this target with "C:\Windows\explorer.exe". (The "Start in" folder does not need changing and should be left as it is.)

I am not able to change this as it is greyed out and clicking on it does nothing

Have you tried restarting your computer?
