For those who like the "metro" menu & want to optomize

I am not requesting for a replacement for the metro new start menu found in Win8 or Win8.1 or to revert it back to the classic start menu.

What I am wondering is, if there are ways to tweak the metro start menu (the one with the titles).

Any tips, tricks or tweaks in order to fully optimize the look, feel and function of it?
I know how to organize the tiles into groups, rename them, live titles and about the basic settings to tweak the color schemes.

If you're interested in why I would want to use the new menu, it is because one of my devices has a touch screen and the metro setup is interesting. It took some adjusting to with this adaptation, but I am trying to to give it a go.

I do know of the applications that restore the Win7, XP, ect menus but I am not looking for that.

Hi Simadons, welcome to Windows EightForums!

Besides grouping, naming and basic settings you could enable or disable animations.
Only other thing I can think of would be customizing using OblyTile; seems to be one of the more popular choices.

I don't use a touch device so, I'm not sure if there is other things you can do or not.

I did, and it seems like a nifity utility.
I see myself finding custom icon sets now!

I will leave this unsolved to see if people have other suggestions.
