    slow file explorer

    pls, help!

For some days I think my file explorer has some problem.
For example: If I click on a .docx in Total Commander, it loads promptly, but when I want to use "save as" in the Word, it waits for 30 seconds before pops up the browse window.
Config: Win8.1 updated, Intel i5-4200M laptop with 240 GB Samsung SSD & 1000 GB Toshiba(?) SSHD
Usually this config is very fast, only some file operations are extremely slow.

If you open task manager, are there too many processes, especially background processes? Try to disable some unimportant services as well.
