Laptop loosing time - now three minutes slower than

    How long did it take for the two computers to have 3 minutes of difference?

    It's normal for the clocks to vary in time since the crystal oscillator is not any where near as accurate as an Atomic clock. I think mine is about 2 or 3 seconds a day.

    Hmm, it might be a week or more - I should have noted when it first started loosing time. Just have been so busy I hadn't had the time to do anything about it.

    Well, that's what Internet time correction is for. Most smartphones do it thru GSM network. PCs can keep and synchronize time with server thru network too.
