Calendar download

Anyone suggest a good calendar download for desktop, AND a safe site to get one.

Just read a thread of someone who downloaded one from Cnet, and they ended up with serious virus problems

Thunderbird with Sunbird. If you use Google Chrome. There is three Calendar apps that you can use within Chrome. The Sunrise Calendar will allow you to sync your iCloud events, if you have an iPhone or iPad.
