Hi, i recently installed windows 8.1 pro and from the first moment i realised that there was a problem with the language bar display. When I go to the taskbar and press the ENG button to change the keyboard language there is no problem.. But when i press Windows button + Spacebar combination, then the language pop-up displays in the middle of the screen... Is there a way to fix this, cause it is really annoying. Thank you in advance.

Hi Kosletr, welcome to the Eight Forums.

As far as I know the location of the language selection pop-up cannot be changed. It pops up in the middle of the right edge.

The thing is Windows does not save the last position of its internal dialogs, balloon tips and pop-ups. Even if you moved them while open to another position, they will open next time in default position.

In the registry you can find all view and position settings for various Windows elements in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\Bags. However, the task to find the correct entry is so frustrating I'd rather accept the fact that the language selector appears in the middle of the right edge ;).
