    Windows 8.1 error code : 0xc0000225


    Hello Guys,
    i have bought lenovo g50-70 just 20days back,
    it came with inbuilt windows 8.1
    they did not give any recoverable disks with it rather they said to take back up of the OS into a usb stick
    but i forgot to take the backup and tried to partition the hard disk using EASEUS Partition manager
    then i got this error "0XC0000225"
    i'm unable to boot the windows and when i reached service center for help
    they said at present we dont have the disks and we will order it today it make take few days,
    i have reached them again after 10days their response is the same.
    then i went to a private service center,they said we are unable to order disks on your laptop's serial number as the request has been made already by someone.
    so i'm trying to sort out this problem myself.
    can you guys help me?

    What about using the built-in Recovery Partition?

    If Windows cannot be started, then follow the steps below to start the Lenovo
    OneKey Recovery System:
    1 Shut down the computer.
    2 Press the Novo button. From the Novo button menu, select the Lenovo
    OneKey Recovery System and press Enter.

    yeah i've asked lenovo service center guys
    but i've solved the problem using EasyRE Neosmart
    now the big problem is that it is showing the total hardisk space as 200GB mine is 1TB
    and even ONE KEY RECOVERY is not working
    unable to backup image file OS
    any help?

    Try doing an image backup with Macrium Reflect Free to an external hard drive or large flash drive.
