Wrong Metro Colour shown at boot-up

Wrong Metro Colour shown at boot-up

My Windows user has a pretty colour assigned in Metro and previously that was the only colour ever shown at boot-up. The Welcome screen and My avatar against that nice shade which I picked.

But ever since I had to enable the Administrator account, an UGLY purple blue shade is shown for most of the boot-up sequence. It reminds me of work. I don't want it on my home PC. This problem just irritates me.

I have set my regular user as the default Windows account, with automatic logon.

It was when I messed around with all this, that the colour changed.

Any idea if this can be fixed?

So I may have touched some boot configurations before, I kind of forgot, I thought it was a good idea to always have the boot menu show up then. I was wrong, it was terrible. As it doesn't boot in to the system automatically, no countdowns were present. I'm trying to get rid of this issue, and...

I have been using windows 8 for a week or so now, I tried rp and cp but only in a virtual machine occasionally and now I am trying to get used to it as my main os. I do like it but some things just don't make sense. I get that the start screen is not an "app" but why does it have to act...
So, I thought I'd take a look at Chrome and Firefox to compare them to IE10. I have a problem though, I can't seem to make either of their metro versions do a pinch to zoom. I have a Windows slate, so its pretty much a loser if I can't use that feature. Am I doing something wrong?
