Want to reset my computer

I tried to update it but it's been stuck on the Failure converting windows updates. " Reverting changes do not turn off your computer " message for a day now. It's happened like four time in the past. But I don't know what to do. Previously I could turn it off and then back on a bunch of times before it eventually gave me the option to reset/refresh it or whatever. But I'm not getting that option. How can I reset it right now. It won't let me go anywhere. I can move the mouse though. That's about it.
