    If you have something on the desktop that can be set to always on top you can cover it up.

    That's why he's getting the Test Mode watermark then since an unsigned video driver is being loaded at startup.

    It's not going to hurt anything to leave the watermark until he gets an official signed driver though.
    so there was another main problem he went to this custom driver because his windows update refuses to install his WDDM driver
    says
    windows has encountered a problem while installing your device software
    searching for driver then downloading then this problem

    You might see if you may be able to use the Intel Driver Update Utility at the link below on your brother's PC to get and download an official driver for the GMA x4500.

    tried that saying unsupported OS but that does not show why window update driver is not working

    Then uninstall the unsigned driver and download this one https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Det...?DwnldID=18402 for 64-bit and this is if you are using 32-bit OS https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Det...?DwnldID=18400. After you download the zip. file right click on it and Unblock it. Then unzip it and run the setup.exe as administrator. This driver is signed and the watermark can be removed.
