    Random reboots without obvious cause

I've been having random reboots and I am unable to figure out the problem.
It happens when I'm in the middle of demanding games or even browsing the internet. Computer just reboots without BSOD - only the Power failure error in the Win Log (Error 41 I think). I feel like it might be Windows related but I'm not completely sure.
    I'm running
AMD Phenom II X4 955 BE
    MSI GD70
    8GB RAM
ASUS DirectCU II OC R9290-DC2OC-4GD5 Radeon R9 290

    1000W PSU

I'm hoping it's not hardware related but I'm not exactly sure how to test the RAM and PSU (I don't have a spare set).
    Any help is appreciated!

I use Memtest86 for checking RAM, it's free and downloadable. I get the .iso file and use my CD burning program to create the CD from that image.

So I ran the Scan tool and nothing came up (full scan) along with other tools used to scan for Viruses. I also ran Memtest86+ several times on many different occasions and it all came out fine. I THINK it might just be my motherboard going bad but I don't know what the signs for that are. I was thinking, could it be a conflict in the registry? I recently changed out an old video card for this new one and followed this guide Display Driver Uninstaller Thread - Forums just in case drivers might cause a problem. Sometimes I can run the computer just fine for hours but if I reboot, SOMETIMES it does the random reboots. I've also run Furmark on Extreme settings to Burn-In and also used the Burn-In CPU tool and it's come out fine after an hour's use.
