Kill Charms Bar - will disable the top right corner and the bottom right corner in Windows 8.1 and Windows 8.

Does the same without using 3rd party software.

The upper right-hand corner Charms Bar popup was always getting in the way when I was scrolling in Firefox. Glad that it was easy to turn off.

But there's no way to disable swipe-up-from-the-bottom-right-corner-with-the-mouse on a desktop system using an actual mouse and not a trackpad, amirite?

Doesn't appear to be .. I just tested with TrackPoint and swipe brings up the charms .. even though touchpad side-swipe is disabled as well as the reg settings applied - fortuntely I don't have a need to use TrackPoint.

"Charms Bar Killer" disables the entire 'Charms' immersive UI including the clock, not just the 'hint'. Only way to access it is + C. The only thing you can access when running full tilt is the Start button and app stacker from bottom left of the primary monitor only.

Statements of fact shouldn't end with a bunch of question marks.

Ha ha, funny... it was actually many questions (you may exceed with the number of answers) as to why it could be considered "Junk". (that's full stop at the end of sentence)

Every time I bring it up accidentally, I think of Brundlefly climbing the wall in "The Fly", pulling up his shirt, and remarking on the growth on his torso, "Oh look at this, what's this? I don't know."
