Doing a System Refresh from windows 8.1.

    Hello all,
I am having an issue with the amount of time that it takes for this to complete. I have heard that it can take a bit of time, but my laptop(
    Acer Aspire V3-771G-9809 Notebook Intel Core i7 3632QM (2.20GHz) 8GB Memory 1TB HDD NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M)
has been stuck on 60% for over 24 hours. I am wondering if this is something to be concerned about or do you think everything will be okay?

Thank you for any help or advice that you provide in advance.

You might be further ahead to make a system image with Macrium Reflect .
    It works good for me.

Hello David Bailey, while I appreciate the advice I am unable to do that right now as my laptop still says "Resetting your PC: 60%".
Is my laptop not going to work anymore...it's been like this for a while.

I would say an hour and 30 minutes for a Refresh would be more in the realm of normal. Your situation definitely indicates a problem.

    Are you running an Anti-virus?

If this is an 8 to 8.1 updated system, what are you using for the Refresh source image?
