Hi, I'm sorry if I post this on wrong section. I'm new & this is my 1st post on this forum

Anyway, I'm curious about making file shortcuts between hard disk. Example, real folder is in D: drive. I want to make a shortcut for that particular folder in E: drive. Is this possible? if yes could someone teach me? Thank you :D

Yes, it's possible. Navigate to the file/folder you want to create a shortcut to. Right click, on the popup look for "Send To". See if your other drive is an option. If so, click it. It it's not, then choose "Create Shortcut". That shortcut will appear. Then right click that shortcut and "Cut". Navigate to where you want the shortcut and then "Paste". You can then (If you want) right click the shortcut and "Rename".

you also could just open 2 file explore windows on you screen and right click the file and drag to other explore windows and drop it a choose created shortcut here .
to open 2 explorer windows on the desktop ,just open explorer ,then hold in shift key and click explorer icon again ,move explorer windows so you have one on the left and one on the right ,and just right click drag and drop file or folder you want to create a shortcut to.
same thing will work for external hdd drives and thumb Drives
