    Homescreen, after startup stays in loop


    I have windows 8.1 and from the beginning it has a problem that after startup is complete and I get my homescreen it does stay in a loop. Please have a look at video to see it.

    who knows the answer to this?
    I did install classic windows, and this seem to work for some time, but after updates with windows I have the problem again. I did uninsta;; classic windows but problem is the same.

    Does it do the same when you boot in safe mode?

    It looks like explorer.exe is constantly crashing and restarting...

    Have you tried SFC /scannow from an elevated command prompt in safe mode?

    if that finds errors it can't fix then try

    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

    from an elevated command prompt then reboot back into safe mode again and re-run

    Hello,
    I was able to see it is explorer which causes the problem. In task manager I did stop explorer, afterwards did add task explorer.exe and same problem again.
    I will try to get sfc scan to run.
