    Win 8 Pro-Lost disk, can't update, Microsoft can't correct

IE won't work, Windows Store won't access, Can't "Refresh" without OS Disk, Won't access extra hard drive or format. Using Windows 8 Pro, don't have original disk. Can I purchase another Windows 8 Upgrade disk and install it to resolve this problem? Open to other suggestions.

Thank you Caperjack. Didn't work. although I have admin rights to my computer, CMD kept saying "You must be an administrator: and won't run it. I'll continue my search.

Try this batch file that runs sfc & dism :
    {download it & right click it & click Properties & Unblock it.}

    Repair.bat

Right click it & choose run as administrator.

    or

create a shortcut to it on the desktop & right click the shortcut & click Properties & check the box that says run as administrator.

    Hope this helps.

EDIT--- One way to get the Administrator Command Prompt is in this picture:

Another way is in this picture:

Or press the Windows key + the letter X to get the menu in the above picture.

One more way using Task Manager:

    That's all for now.

One more from cmd.exe in System 32:

    That's all folks.
