Ok this is a really stupid question. but how does one use the "Aero snap" style feature for Metro Apps with a Keyboard and mouse?

From what I can see... dragging the app across to the left of the app you are using, doesn't snap them side by side, it just makes the app you have just dragged full screen instead.

I know its possible, I just have no idea how :S

Your resolution is causing this problem. You need 1366 x 768 for Snapping Metro Apps. But you can still enable it. Read this: Enable Windows 8 Snap Feature And How To Snap Metro Application . Hope it works!!!

Windows 8 has a very nice feature called "Snap", where you can have either two Metro apps or one Metro app and a "legacy" app sharing the screen. In order to use this feature, you have to have a screen resolution of at least 1366x768. My monitor maxes out at 1280x1024, so I apparently cannot use...
