I'm thinking about installing Win 8 on my desktop which is not my main computer. It currently has Win 7 home premium 64 bit. The computer also has a Dr. D: which has the System Recovery. If I do a fresh install of Win 8, will it wipe out Dr. D:? I'm assuming that it won't, but I've been know to be wrong. Thanks~~Frank

Windows Eight will install where you tell it to install. If you tell it to install on D it will probably do it. If you wan to install Eight, just create a new partition and install it there. They recommend a partition size of at least 25 gigs.

That sounds like a good idea as I have plenty of unused space. Thanks for the information.
