Hello,
I'm currently running Windows 8.1. This is the first time i've used Windows in about 5-10 years so go easy !
I have some software called "pingy" which is required to be installed on my computer. When i download and extract the software there are three files --> BIN, ENV & TEST
Here are the steps i'm meant to be following ...
1. install the software to the C:\pingy
2. add C:\pingy\bin to the system path.
3. add a new environmental variable PINGY_ENV_PATH
containing .;C:\pingy\env
I can't figure out where to up these variables etc....
I've...
1. Opened up control panel
2. Clicked on System and Security
3. Click on System
4. Then onto Advanced system settings.
5. Then clicked on Envrionmental Variables
Now is have the Environmental Variables box showing. I see 3 things in "User Variables for me"
Path
TEMP
TMP
At the bottom of the box i see "System Variables" which contains many values....
I'm not sure where each variable goes, i've googled around and had a look at some youtube videos but nothing seems to work.
thanks in advance for any help
