Windows 8.1 stuck at blue screen with cursor

Hi all! I'm typing this on mobile so excuse bad formatting.Anyway I recently upgraded to windows 8.1 from windows 7. Installation went fine and first time I loaded into windows perfectly. I only installed the following: killer enthernet driver and google chrome (also nobodies graphics driver)I reset my computer and it goes through the logo then goes into a blank blue screen where I can move my cursor.What I've tried: I can log into safe mode. Right now I am resetting the PC (file wipe). I can't seem to attach an image on mobile. If someone can tell me how that would be great.All help is appreciated thanks!

Just try to boot in safe mode and do a system restore to a restore point sometime before you installed your graphics driver. (might be a possible driver compatibility issue)

So it works now. However it seems to randomly bsod..

What sort of error message are you getting?

you may be able to get around this error without a huge overhaul if you are able to ctl+alt+del to get to the taskmanager, from here go to file menu>>run new task>>explorer.exe This worked on the system i had to look at but it had resulted from windows explorer crashing after a canceled copy using end task which killed explorer and for some reason explorer would not restart with the system until it was started again from this blue screen. PS: I realize this is long after the fact but for anyone else who comes looking.
