    Logon No keyboard Only Mouse

I have a problem when on the clock date screen as my keyboard (logitech wireless with unifying receiver not paired) is not working how am I supposed to get past that screen to logon.

I cant click the enter key as the keyboard losses the wireless pairing at times (use it on 2 pc's).
Only the mouse is ok (wired) and there must be a way to use the mouse to logon.

If there is not a way then that's a major bug in my books.
I could plug in a wired keyboard or even spend big money on a touch screen but it wont help when you need to logon straight away.

So if anyone know how to get past the clock date screen with just a mouse I am waiting to hear.

Just drag the clock date screen up to get past it. and you can use a picture password to logon without a keyboard.

    Worked it out(:

You can drag the screen up with the mouse all the way to the top and the next screen will show.

Thanks Although I worked it out but had me stumped.

I now realise that if you can do something with the touch feature you can use the mouse pointer as a replacement for your finger.

You could also use the onscreen keyboard in the ease of access options, though that would take substantially
    longer

I had to do that this morning after spilling a whole cup of coffee over my keyboard. What a palaver to get a new wireless keyboard installed in Windows 8, just as awkward as in Windows 7. If you have a Microsoft Wireless or Bluetooth keyboard you have to uninstall the old keyboard in Devices, remove the Intellitype software and drivers before the system allows you to install a new keyboard. WIndows 8 would not recognise a run of the mill wired plug and play Compaq keyboard either, though I think this had more to do with my Microsoft Wireless Entertainment Keyboard 7000 still being registered in devices. Strikes me as rather odd that. I should be more careful where I place my cup of coffee in the future.
