    It is because you configure the dual boot from Windows 7 boot manager, you need to configure from Windows 8 then you'll get the GUI.
    I went into it. Do I make a change, then un-make it later?

    Maybe make Win7 default, then go back and make Win 8.1 a default?

Under system properties I have my virtual memory set to 5118mb. I have 12GB of physical ram, and honestly don't even need virtual memory.
